The GWCT Scottish Game Fair has confirmed its 2020 dates and released tickets and Christmas Gift Packages for next year’s event, with the online box office now open to the general public.

Organised by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) with Headline Sponsor NFU Mutual, the Fair returns to stunning Scone Palace Parklands in Perthshire over the weekend of July 3-5.

This year’s event attracted 32,000 people across three days, and the 2020 event promises to draw similar crowds for a true celebration of conservation and the countryside, while at the same time raising funds for GWCT’s vital conservation work.

The 32nd GWCT Scottish Game Fair will once again feature an impressive line-up of traders, competitions and a revamped main ring programme. A mainstay in the country sports calendar, there will also be a plethora of country sports activities, coaching and competitions to appeal to all ages and abilities from fishing and clays to gundogs.

The always popular Food Theatre returns alongside competitions such as the Junior Macnab Challenge, giving youngsters a chance to try their hand at country sports skills, completely free of charge.

Bruce Russell, Director (Scotland) of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, said: “What an incredible year 2019 has been for the GWCT Scottish Game Fair with wonderful benefits for the charity. Next year’s event looks set to build on the success of 2019 and will offer a packed programme for the whole family to enjoy.

“We are pleased to be offering our Christmas Gift tickets again, this has always been very popular and offers excellent value for money. The offer is limited in number so be sure not to miss out.”

Organisers are also appealing for volunteers of all ages to help with a variety of activities across the weekend.

Bruce Russell added: “We would like to thank the brilliant volunteers who help keep the Fair running as smoothly as possible. The team might be doing anything from litter picking to helping score a gundog competition – and everything in between. We want our volunteers to have a great time working at the Fair, and our Volunteer Co-ordinator will be on hand to make sure they have a sociable and fun time supporting the Fair.”
