TRAVELLING

The GWCT Scottish Game Fair is held in the extensive grounds of the historic Scone Palace.

Travelling to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair by Car

There are a number of routes leading to the venue. Road signs directing traffic to the Scottish Game Fair will be placed on all major Trunk Roads leading to Perth and visitors are kindly asked to follow the directions given on these signs which will result is less traffic congestion in Perth.

Parking at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair

On the day car parking is available for £5 or free for GWCT Members. If you would like to become a GWCT member in advance please click here.

Gold Parking tickets are available to purchase in advance along with your Fair tickets. Priced at £12 they allow you to park closer to the event. You can buy them here.

Travelling by Train

Regular services arrive in Perth Station from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee to Perth – for timetable information contact National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950 or visit www.thetrainline.com. Transfer to the GWCT Scottish Game Fair is then by Taxi or Bus.

Travelling by Bus

Stagecoach’s Strathtay Service No 58 runs from Perth to Blairgowrie, passing Scone Palace.  The stops you require are ‘Old Scone Sawmill’ (Perth to Scone) and ‘Old Scone Bus Shelter’ (Scone to Perth). See here for current timetable.

Travelling on Foot

Pedestrian access is via the North Lodge entrance to Scone Palace (not the main gate) and down Yew Tree Walk, then along the side of the car park to the Scottish Game Fair gate.

Travelling by Bicycle

Cycle access is by road, exactly the same as for cars.
