studioEAST Chartered Architects, based in Perth, are proudly supporting the Falconry display at the 2019 Scottish Game Fair. As regular attendees of the event, country pursuits and support of the rural economy are an important part of the practice’s ethos.

Falconry is a noble sport with a wide range of birds and skills as well as a requirement for falconer and bird to have a close understanding of each other. These values are reflected in architecture; projects can range from small to large, each with its own value and importance. Whatever the size or complexity, each project requires a close understanding of the brief to be successful.
studioEAST is a multi-disciplinary practice of chartered architects operating across Perthshire, Tayside, Angus and Fife. The practice carries expertise in private housing and commercial projects and works alongside landowners, estates and their agents to help maximise their properties and land use within both traditional and contemporary boundaries.

The studioEAST portfolio includes a wide variety of project types. These range from small domestic projects and new-build housing to commercial projects and complex renovations.

• New Build Houses
• Extensions & Renovations
• Listed Buildings & Conservation
• Sports & Leisure
• Education & Schools
• Hotel, Bar & Restaurant
• Commercial & Industrial
• Holiday Accommodation
• Garden Rooms & Huts

Richard Taylor, Director and Architect says,

“Every project presents its own specific brief and unique criteria. We strive to interpret this to not only design a scheme that sits well within its context, but also provides an economical solution.
Like the birds featured in the falconry display, we also hope to bring a little joy with what we do! We look forward to a close relationship with the Scottish Game Fair in this and future events.”
