There are so many fantastic places to eat and drink all around the GWCT Scottish Game Fair. You can have everything from a three course sit down meal at our exclusive GWCT Members Restaurant, to a wood fired pizza, and almost everything in between.

The GWCT Members Restaurant

A delicious selection of meals provided by the family run Saltire Hospitality situated right next to the GWCT Members’ Marquee.

Enjoy the finest of fresh ingredients, a careful attention to quality across the day from hot breakfasts, to three course lunches and freshly baked goods for those who just fancy a sticky bun and a cup of tea.

Eat al fresco in the bistro area in the garden for more relaxed dining in the garden or drop in for a Pimms.

Two cash bars are available to minimise queuing, and smart designated members’ loos are also available adjacent to the restaurant for GWCT members.

The Saltire Hospitality team’s ethos is simple: a firm belief in using only the finest, local, seasonal Scottish produce.

To access the Members’ Restaurant you must be a GWCT Member. Members should wear their lapel sticker on arrival. You will be greeted to the Welcome Marquee, just before the turnstiles and your lapel badge will be exchanged for a smart swing-tag. You are very welcome to take guests into the GWCT Members’ Restaurant by the main-ring but we hope you can persuade them to join the Trust before they leave!

If you wish to become a member before visiting the fair, you can apply online.

The Field Kitchen

The Field Kitchen offers a fantastic range of BBQ and bistro foods, with the GWCT Scottish Game Fair’s largest bar and beer garden. Perfect for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine with friends.

There is a huge selection on offer in the Bistro, Bar & Beer Garden: choose from chef’s antipasti with fresh salad, hot dishes like beer battered fish and chips or mac and cheese, or a lovely selection of Saltire Patisserie fresh bakery & pastries.

As well as the ever-popular Hog Roast (get there early before it runs out) check out the Grill Shack and enjoy a delicious rack of smokey barbecue ribs, spicy chicken wings or a steak, pork and chorizo or venison burger.

The Ghillies Bar

It’s thirsty work down on the river so why not refresh yourself and call in at The Ghillies Bar. Offering a great selection of draught lager and cider, along with bottled craft beers, and specially selected wines and soft drinks, The Ghillies Bar is ideally located by the fishing competitions and demonstration marquees on the river.

Loch Fyne Oyster & Champagne Bar

Situated in catering location L –(for Loch Fyne!) and close to the fishing area, why not sample award-winning Loch Fyne oysters, smoked salmon, and other outstanding seafood from Argyll.

Sip Fyne Ales, white wine and champagne while soaking up the atmosphere in the fishing area with the famous produce from the Loch Fyne Oyster & Champagne Bar.

The Gamekeepers Bar

Take a load off and enjoy a drink or two at Gamekeepers Bar on Partridge Row, right beside the Italian Coffee Bar, Tomintoul Venison, Lov Chicken, Highland and Hog Roast.

Ice Cream! Delicious Ice Cream!

Wherever you are on the show ground, you’re never too far away from an ice cream. This year we are delighted that Graham’s, the Family Dairy are sponsoring our main family fun area – Activity Row – so be sure to drop by for a scoop!

We Love Coffee

Sometimes you just need a wee pick me up and there are plenty of coffee outlets dotted around the fair to give you just that. Keep and eye out for Angel’s Coffee, Cafe Fawn, the Italian Coffee Bar, Lov Coffee and the MCS Coffee & Donut Co for your caffeine fix.
