Be Sun Smart

If you are thinking about bringing your dogs to the Scottish Game Fair, please think twice. Whilst dogs are a fun and traditional part of our fair, the hot weather could cause them undue stress. If you do choose to bring your dog they MUST NOT be left in the car.

Dogs cannot cool themselves down in hot weather, heat stroke can happen quickly and can be fatal. The main signs of heatstroke include panting heavily, excessive drooling, lethargy and vomiting. If your pet or another animal is in distress, please report to security.

We want you and your pets to stay safe and enjoy the Fair.

We would ask all of our visitors to remember to bring sunscreen and reapply it throughout the day, cover up with a hat and stay hydrated. There are many water stand points across the Fair site with drinking water so you can top up your bottles.
