Renewables Area

Once again an area of the Fair will be dedicated to renewable energy. Visitors can meet recognised specialists in renewable technologies, be it wind, solar, hydroelectric power or biogas from anaerobic digestion.

1. Best Stand at Fair

Members of the Scottish Game Fair Committee tour the fairground each year (incognito) to select what they consider to be the most attractive, innovative, educational and best presented stand.  Past winners have included the Forestry Commission Scotland and the Clock House Furniture stands.  The 2012 winner will receive a framed print in recognition of their contribution.  The Fair Press Officer will also announce the winner in our post-fair press release.

The Fair can be a perfect opportunity to draw attention to new developments within your company. Do you have a launch happening at the 2012 Scottish Game Fair? 4. Craft Fair
   

The Craft Fair is organised by 3D2D.  Please contact them directly for costs.

5. Closing dates for applications:
   
• All trade stand applications - 28 February 2012
  
• Advertising applications - 30 March 2012
  
• Table and chair requirements - 25 May 2012
  
(Tables and chairs must be ordered directly from Henderson Marquee Hire - please refer to the printed instructions available on request from the Fair office).

 

6. Stand space - 2012 prices
   
• NB – all prices quoted are exclusive of VAT  
• Open space (1.5m frontage x 9m depth) price per unit - £135
• Covered and floored shedding (Stag & Osprey rows only, 3m frontage x4.5m depth) price per unit - £635 for one unit; additional units £550
• Covered and floored shedding (Gunmakers row only, 3m frontage x 6m depth) price per unit - £685 for one unit; additional units £600
• A shared stand will be charged an extra 20%
• Ringside and Corner sites (if available) will be charged an extra 25%

 

7. Modular tent hire
   
   • 3x3m - £485
   • 3x6m - £655
   • 6x3m - £935
   • 6x6m - £1040
   • 6x9m - £1285

   • 15x6m - £2650

   These amounts include the charge for open space.  Other sizes and traditional canvas can be obtained subject to availability. Prices on application.

    

8. Stand furnishings
   
   • Flooring per sq m - £4.50
   • Coconut matting per sq m - £3.50

    

9. Electricity
   
   • Standard 1 KW point - £165 (extra points - £100)
   • Standard 3 KW point, 13 amp – £215 (extra points - £130)
   • Standard 6 KW point – £425
   • Special supply (in excess of 6KW) – prices on application.

    

10. Tickets & passes (issued according to size of stand)
    
    
    • Entrance tickets (each day):
      1 ticket per unit (1.5m) of space, e.g.
      2 tickets for 3m of space
      4 tickets for 6m of space
